ETSU Graduate Allison Keys
This is my second time photographing Allison and she is such a fun loving person to be around! I am so excited for her and cannot wait to see what her future holds! I'm sure she is going to make a great impact in our world! I asked Allison why she chose to become a teacher and her answer is below.
Keep scrolling down to see a sneak peek into her graduation photo session with me, she totally rocked it!! :)
"I am graduating in May with my masters in Early Childhood Education. Recently I’ve been asked to explain why I want to teach young children. I have many reasons, as most educators do, but to tell you all of them would require a significant amount of time; I will only share two of the most important reasons that I want to teach. I want to teach to love and inspire young children. Children come from very diverse and unique backgrounds. Some children do not receive the love they need at home. These children need to know that someone in their life loves and cares for them. It is my job as an educator to be that person. When students walk into my classroom, I want them to know that they can confide in me about anything and that regardless of their test scores I will love them. I want to teach young children to inspire them to be life-long learners. I want to inspire a love of learning in my students. I want to inspire them to follow their dreams. I chose to be an educator because I wanted to make a difference in children’s lives. I believe I can do this by loving and inspiring all of my future students."
